Je suis tombé dessus en cherchant des versions au piano de la sonate pour violon n°2. Ca n'est pas la même gamme que la version violon mais cela sonne particulièrement bien. Pour avoir testé le début en transposant la version de Siloti dans la gamme d'origine, je trouve la version de Siloti plus belle au piano. Très joliment joué en tout cas, je vais apprendre à la jouer, en espérant pouvoir la jouer aussi bien que vous.

Esta música foi feita para cravo e no cravo que ela alcança sua máxima expressão, *porém* , é *maravilhosa* no piano também ! É para virtuoses, ela exige tal talento, mas nada fica "demais" nesta peça: ela brilha e se "acende" com o virtuosismo seja no cravo seja no piano. This piece was made for harpsichord and on the harpsichord it reaches its maximum expression, *however*, it is *WONDEFUL* on the piano too ! It is for virtuosos, it demands such talent, but nothing is "too much" in this piece: it shines and "lights up" with virtuosity whether on the harpsichord or on the piano.

Very nice and thoughtful interpretation. As a jazz piano player, I can't help noticing that Franz Liszt -as a composer- compares easily to Art Tatum with their incredible virtuosity and creativity.
